The study of environmental pollution by the waste of drinking water after the treatment

Abstract

In this study are presented the results of the radiation dose level of some radionuclide of waste during and after the treatment of drinking water, as well as the environmental pollution that occurs from these residues. The samples are taken from the effluent and sludge from two water treatment plants in Kosovo. Measurements were performed using appropriate radiation protection techniques, and results showed variations in dose levels depending on the treatment process used.
