Item KARAKTERISTIKAT ANTROPOMETRIKE DHE AFTËSITË FUNKSIONALE TË HENDBOLLISTËVE DHE FUTBOLLISTËVE JUNIOR: ANALIZË KRAHASUESE(AAB College, 2026-05-22) Sallahi, IlirAim: The main purpose of this master's thesis was to analyze and compare the differences in anthropometric characteristics and functional abilities between junior handball and football players (aged 17–18 years) from the Kosovo Superliga. Methods: The study involved 70 junior athletes (N=70), divided equally into two groups: 35 junior handball players (G1) and 35 junior football players (G2). Twelve anthropometric variables were measured (body weight, height, various body and limb circumferences, and skinfold thickness in five body sites), along with four functional variables (resting systolic and diastolic blood pressure, resting heart rate, and aerobic capacity estimated by the Astrand-Ryhming test). The data were processed using appropriate parametric statistical methods: descriptive statistics, distribution analysis, Pearson correlation coefficients, and the Independent Samples t-test. Results: The analysis revealed statistically highly significant differences (p<0.001) between the two groups across all measured variables. Handball players had on average 20 kg higher body weight, were 7 cm taller, showed substantially larger body circumferences (especially abdominal circumference +14.3 cm), and greater skinfold thickness in all measured sites (6.8–9.9 mm more). In contrast, football players exhibited significantly lower resting blood pressure (systolic –11.6 mmHg, diastolic –9.1 mmHg), lower resting heart rate (–4.7 bpm), and markedly higher maximal aerobic capacity (VO₂max +9.5 ml/kg/min). Conclusions: All three research hypotheses were fully confirmed. Junior handball players dominated in anthropometric parameters and body composition, while junior football players showed a clear advantage in cardiovascular parameters and aerobic capacity. These differences reflect the specific physiological demands of each sport and have important practical implications for talent selection, training program design, and monitoring the development of junior athletes in KosovoItem ANALIZA E DALLIMEVE NDËRMJET PREFERENCAVE PËR AKTIVITETET SPORTIVE REKREATIVE DHE FAKTORËVE TË MËNYRËS SË JETESËS TE POPULLATA E KOMUNËS SË RAHOVECIT(AAB College, 2026-05-22) Popaj, GjylsimeThis study aims to analyze the differences between preferences for recreational sports activities and lifestyle factors among the population of the Municipality of Rahovec, with a particular focus on the influence of gender and place of residence (urban and rural). The research was conducted on a sample of 200 respondents, equally distributed by gender and place of residence. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire, while both descriptive and inferential statistics were used for data analysis, specifically the Chi-Square test to assess the relationships between categorical variables. The results of the study indicate that there are no statistically significant differences between females and males regarding participation in recreational sports activities, suggesting similar behavioral patterns across genders. In contrast, place of residence emerges as a significant factor, with respondents from urban areas demonstrating higher levels of participation in recreational activities compared to those from rural areas. Regarding lifestyle factors, such as cigarette consumption, alcohol consumption, dietary habits, and sleep duration, no statistically significant relationships were found with participation in recreational activities in most cases. In conclusion, the findings highlight place of residence as a more influential determinant than gender in explaining participation in recreational activities, while the examined lifestyle factors do not appear to be strong predictors of this phenomenon. The results contribute to a better understanding of physical activity patterns at the local level and may serve as a basis for developing policies and interventions aimed at promoting a more active lifestyle within the community.Item ECURIA E KLUBEVE KOSOVARE NË GARAT EVROPIANE (CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DHE EUROPACONFERENCE LEAGUE) – SFIDAT STRUKTURORE DHE MENAXHERIALE(AAB College, 2026-04-16) Mujaj, EndritThis master’s thesis examines the impact of managerial structures on the performance of Kosovar football clubs in elite UEFA competitions, such as the Champions League and Europa Conference League. The primary objective of this study is to analyze how the transition from traditional leadership models to professional sports management affects financial sustainability and sporting success. The methodology combines descriptive analysis of the legal framework, comparative financial data analysis, and case studies of selected elite Kosovar clubs. The key findings indicate that, despite technical progress, clubs continue to face significant structural challenges, particularly regarding the lack of clear separation of powers and high dependence on a single revenue source. The study demonstrates that achieving long-term success in the international arena requires a shift from the “sole-owner model” to a comprehensive corporate governance system. The recommendations provided serve as a roadmap for professionalizing club administration, digitalizing operational processes, and strategically investing in youth academies, which represent the clubs’ most important long-term assets.Item DIAGNOSTIFIKIMI I AFTËSIVE MOTORIKE SI KRITER PËR PËRZGJEDHJEN (SELEKSIONIMIN) E FUTBOLLISTËVE TË RINJ(AAB College, 2026-03-23) Shabani, RilindThe main aim of this research was to analyze the impact of motor skills on the selection and classification of young footballers, focusing on identifying statistically significant relationships between variables of sports performance and decision-making at the selection level. This study included 60 young footballers, to whom various measures of motor skills were applied. A battery of tests was used to assess motor characteristics, including: explosive strength, speed, coordination and football-specific skills. Statistical and econometric tests were used to analyze the data, including the Shapiro-Wilk test for normality, correlation analysis to identify relationships between variables, classification analysis (K-means) to divide footballers into groups according to performance, as well as regression analysis to test the impact of motor skills on selection. The results showed that most of the motor variables do not deviate from the normal distribution (p > 0.05), confirming the validity of the data. Correlation analysis identified significant positive associations between several skills, especially MVRSLLA, MVR20M, MT-Test, MKGJ and MTHAE. Classification analysis (K-means) divided the footballers into three homogeneous groups: 25% with average performance, 35% with good performance and 40% with high performance. Regression analysis showed that some of the motor variables have a positive and statistically significant impact on the selection of footballers. Based on the results obtained, we can conclude that motor skills play an important role in the selection process of young footballers, and classification analysis can be used as an effective method to identify young talents in footballItem SISTEMATIZIMI DHE ANALIZA PËRSHKRUESE E USHTRIMEVE NË STEP DHE TOPA TË FITNESIT(AAB College, 2026-03-23) Beqiraj, AuroraThe treatment of the topic of this thesis, related to the application of step exercises (platforms) and fitness balls, presents highly effective tools and equipment for increasing muscular strength, joint stability, and enhancing joint mobility. Their application has a wide scope of use in various therapeutic treatments. The exercises performed with fitness balls of different shapes and sizes can be applied depending on specific requirements, based on different movements involved in concrete motor (sport) activities. The particular importance of addressing this issue lies in the fact that these pieces of equipment have been very little utilized until now, or rather have more often served merely as decorative elements in various fitness gym environments. This paper describes and analyses in detail the methods for performing exercises using these tools, presenting the appropriate terminology during the execution of exercises, which is further illustrated with corresponding photographs.Item VLERËSIMI I USHQYERJES DHE I STATUSIT USHQYES TË FËMIJËVE NË INSTITUCIONET PARASHKOLLORE NË KOMUNËN E PRIZRENIT(AAB College, 2026-03-23) Thaçi, ZgjimThis study aimed to assess the nutritional content of meals offered to children in preschool institutions, by analyzing food menus and investigating the knowledge and attitudes of educators and parents on healthy nutrition. The basic research question for this research is: What is the level of nutrition and nutritional status of children in public and private preschool institutions and to what extent do they meet the recommended standards of healthy nutrition? The basic hypothesis is: Nutritional practices in public and private preschool institutions are characterized by an average level of nutritional quality, which does not always fully comply with the recommended international standards for the nutrition of preschool children. It is expected that the differences between public and private institutions will not be statistically significant. The research is based on a mixed methodology (qualitative and quantitative), including menu analysis, questionnaires, interviews and direct observations. The population includes educators, leaders, parents from selected preschool institutions in the Municipality of Prizren. The questionnaires were analyzed with the SPSS program. While the qualitative data analysis was recorded in writing, which was used as part of the data analysis. The results of the research show that traditional foods, such as various dishes, cereals and vegetables, are used more often, but some industrial foods with added sugar and fat are also present on the menu. The daily menu is not always completely balanced, there is a regular lack of fruits 6 and vegetables, the appearance of processed foods. The findings also showed that children prefer industrial foods more than traditional foods. It is recommended: Drafting the food menu in collaboration with nutritionists, training for educators and parents on healthy nutrition, involving cooks and assistant cooks, increasing transparency and strengthening parent-institution cooperation. The results of this research will help the current system of child nutrition in preschool institutions and will contribute to improving food quality for a healthier development of children.Item DALLIMET NË DISA VEÇORI ANTROPOMETRIKE DHE AFTËSI LËVIZORE BAZIKE NË MES TË GJIMNASTËVE DHE NXËNËSVE TË MOSHËS 13 DHE 14 VJEÇ(AAB College, 2026-03-23) Krasniqi, LiridonThis study aims to analyze and compare several anthropometric characteristics and basic motor skills between two groups of children aged 13 and 14: those who practice gymnastics and those who are not engaged in regular sports activities. A total of 57 participants were included in this study, divided into two groups: gymnasts and non-athlete students. Anthropometric indicators such as body height, body weight, body mass index (BMI), and limb circumference were measured. In terms of motor skills, capacities such as strength, speed, endurance, and coordination were evaluated. The results showed that gymnasts had a clear advantage in most parameters of basic motor abilities, as well as significant differences in certain anthropometric features, reflecting the positive impact of regular training on the physical and functional development of children. These findings highlight the importance of early involvement in sports such as gymnastics to improve not only motor performance but also overall physical development and health.Item NIVELI I ANGAZHIMIT NË AKTIVITETET REKREATIVE-SPORTIVE DHE KARAKTERISTIKAT E STILIT TË JETESËS SË STAFIT AKADEMIK DHE ADMINISTRATIV TË KOLEGJIT AAB(AAB College, 2026-03-23) Daija, EmaSports recreation, as a distinct field of physical education, represents a fundamental component of a healthy lifestyle for modern individuals, contributing to the maintenance and improvement of physical, mental, and social health. Academic institutions, as high-intensity intellectual work environments, face a particular need to promote healthy lifestyle habits among their staff. The aim of this study was to examine the factors influencing participation in recreational and sports activities among the academic and administrative staff of AAB College, based on demographic variables and lifestyle elements. The study was guided by four research hypotheses, developed on the basis of contemporary literature addressing the relationship between physical activity, lifestyle habits, and health. Data analysis was conducted using the Chi-square test to identify statistically significant differences and relationships among the studied variables. The results showed statistically significant differences in participation levels in recreational and sports activities by gender, with males exhibiting higher engagement compared to females, confirming the first hypothesis (H1). Additionally, it was found that tobacco and alcohol consumption were negatively associated with participation frequency, supporting the second hypothesis (H2), in line with studies highlighting the negative impact of harmful habits on physical activity and health. The third hypothesis (H3) was confirmed through a positive and statistically significant relationship between engagement in recreational and sports activities and healthy lifestyle habits. Contrary to expectations, no statistically significant differences were found between academic and administrative staff, thus not confirming the fourth hypothesis (H4). In conclusion, the study confirms that gender and lifestyle habits are important factors influencing participation in recreational and sports activities, while professional role has no significant effect. The findings provide valuable theoretical and practical insights for understanding the factors that promote or hinder physical activity among university staff and can serve as a basis for designing institutional policies and recreational programs aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle and increasing participation in physical activities.Item LOJA SI METODË E PUNËS PËR ZHVILLIMIN E AFTËSIVE LËVIZORE, TË KUPTUARIT DHE TË MENDUARIT KREATIV TË FËMIJVE NË MOSHËN PARASHKOLLORE(AAB College, 2025-11-26) Latifaj, VloraPlay represents one of the most natural and effective ways of learning during early childhood, particularly in the preschool stage. This paper aims to explore the role of play as a structured and purposeful method to stimulate motor skills, understanding, and creativity in children aged 3 to 6 years. Through physical activities, children unconsciously develop coordination, balance, muscular strength, and cardiovascular endurance. Regular and structured physical play supports not only the development of both fine and gross motor skills but also plays a crucial role in building self-confidence and fostering a sense of independence. Play also provides opportunities to promote learning processes, helping children understand rules, solve problems, and grasp cause-and-effect relationships. These experiences contribute significantly to the development of logical and linguistic thinking. Another essential aspect of play is the stimulation of creative thinking, which is fostered through role-playing, imaginative activities, and tasks that require invention and flexibility. Through play, children experiment with ideas, solutions, and new situations, using their freedom to explore and express their inner world. In conclusion, play should not be viewed merely as a form of amusement, but as an educational and methodological tool that contributes to the holistic and sustainable development of the child — physically, cognitively, and creatively. The role of the educator is vital in planning and guiding play activities to maximize their developmental benefits. The teacher can use play as a powerful medium to support all the above-mentioned dimensions of child developmentItem ANALIZA E NDIKIMIT TË VEÇORIVE MORFOLOGJIKE DHE FORCËS SHPËRTHYESE NË PERFORMANCËN E LOJTAREVE TË EKIPEVE FINALISTE NË KAMPIONATIN EVROPIAN PËR FEMRA 2023(AAB College, 2025-11-26) Shabani, UrataThe primary aim of this thesis is to analyze the impact of morphological characteristics and explosive motor abilities on the performance of female volleyball players who participated in the final of the 2023 European Women's Volleyball Championship. Special focus is placed on the national teams of Turkey and Serbia, the champion and runner-up respectively, as well as their qualifying teams. The sample consisted of 216 athletes in total: 106 from the Turkish group and 108 from the Serbian group. Several key morphological and motor variables were selected and analyzed: age, body height, body weight, body mass index (BMI), spike jump height, and block jump height. The methodology included the use of analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Post Hoc-LSD multiple comparison tests to identify statistical differences between groups. The statistical results confirmed the validity of parametric techniques, although two motor variables demonstrated asymmetry, suggesting that non-parametric methods could also be considered. Importantly, no statistically significant differences were found in body height or spike jump height between the national teams and their respective qualifying teams. These findings suggest that such characteristics are standardized at the elite level and serve as fundamental selection criteria. However, a statistically significant difference was found in block jump height, where Serbian players outperformed their opponents from some qualifying teams. Additionally, Turkish players had a noticeably higher body mass index compared to Serbian players. These differences indicate varying levels of physical preparation and body composition. Although some variables did not yield statistically significant differences, they remain important indicators for talent selection and team development. Ultimately, the success of elite-level teams is not solely based on physical or motor parameters but also on factors such as experience, team cohesion, tactical training, and psychological readiness. This study offers valuable insights for coaches and sports professionals in selecting athletes and designing training strategies for modern elite volleyball.
