Abstract
The main objective of this scientific research paper is to compare the performance and scalability of Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and Solana from a performance and scalability perspective. Specifically, we aim to measure and analyze the following metrics: (i) transaction throughput per second under various test scenarios, (ii) block confirmation time across ecosystems, (iii) gas fees for executing transactions, and (iv) the effectiveness of consensus mechanisms in maintaining network integrity and processing speed. The study utilizes publicly available blockchain explorers and performance monitoring tools to collect quantitative data under controlled conditions. Our findings indicate that Solana demonstrates significantly higher transaction throughput and lower confirmation latency compared to BSC. However, BSC maintains better compatibility with existing Ethereum-based tools and decentralized applications (dApps), offering a more seamless developer experience. We conclude that both ecosystems offer unique trade-offs, with Solana favoring high-speed applications and BSC providing a robust and developer-friendly environment.
