Item ALGORITHMS FOR MANAGEMENT OF POST-BURN CONTRACTURE IN UPPER EXTREMITY IN CHILDREN(AAB College, 2025-07-17) Sopjani, Idriz; Mustafa, MyberaThe aim of this study is to describe the management and outcome of surgical treatment for post burn contractures in different parts of the upper extremities in children, and provide a final decision algorithm that can be a useful guide for the Resident regarding surgical approach to contracture management. This was a retrospective study conducted in the Clinic of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Pristina-Kosovo, between 2014-2016. All cases continued check ups in the Gentiana-Grelor private clinic in Pristina until 2019. Followups were conducted for no less than 6 months with respect to the viability and healing of the repaired area. Patients of both genders, aged from 0 months to 18 years with post-burn contracture in upper extremity, were included in the study. For the sake of presentation, we divided them anatomically into four main areas: axilla, elbow, wrist and hand. We start with a reconstructive ladder using skin grafts (STSG, FTSG), and local flaps such as advancement flaps, Z-plasties, V-Y or Y-V advancement flap, abdonimal/groin pedicled flap, cross finger flap, radial forearm flap were used. Patients were called for follow-up lasting a minimum of one to up to three years. The study included 144 patients. Their age ranged from 9 months to 18 years, the mean age being 12 years. Ordering them by location, post-burn contracture percentage in upper extremity in children was 68% on the hands, 18% on the elbows, 8% on the axilla and 6% on the wrist. A classification and treatment algorithm aids in achieving significant improvements in both joint motions and aesthetic deformities.Item Solving the Traveling Salesman Problem using Google Services and Simulated Annealing Algorithm(AAB College, 2025-07-15) Helshani, LaurikThe concept of the traveling salesman problem is to seeking a tour of a specified number of cities (visiting each city exactly once and returning to the starting point) where the length of the tour is minimized. The mathematical modeling of this problem has to do with the theory of graphs. In this paper, I examine simulated annealing algorithm in the context of solving the traveling salesman problem. During the trip, same client should not be visited more than once and the route should be shorter and less costly. The mathematical modeling of this problem has to do with the theory of graphs and combinatorics. Graph vertexes symbolize places to visit, and edges that connect the nodes are the paths (the distance of which is known from the beginning) that lead to those places. The complexity of the exact algorithm for solving this problem increases with the number of places to visit. For this reason genetic algorithm is offered as the optimal solution of TSP problem. The whole system is implemented as client-server system using RESTFul web services, Google-services and Android OS. Genetic Algorithm is used to determine the optimum route on Google map and solves the Travelling Salesman problem.Item An Android Application to solve the shortest path problem using Google Services and Dijkstra's Algorithm(AAB College, 2025-07-15) Helshani, LaurikIn this paper, I examine Dijkstra’s algorithm in the context of solving the shortest path problem. The mathematical modeling of this problem has to do with the theory of graphs. The whole system is programmed as client system using Google Services and Android OS. Google Services are used to determine the optimum path on Google map and solve the shortest path problem as alternative of Dijkstra's Algorithm.Item Use of methods for determining the parameters Newton electrical facilities in port sea as factors determining the electricity(AAB College, 2025-07-15) Spahiu, XhevdetAlbania is located in a very favourable geographic position in South-Eastern part of the Balkans, the main hub of Corridor 8, where 1/3 of the border sea, about 440 km, which is considered a seaside location, with favourable natural conditions to achieve a qualitative shipping, guaranteed and reliable. Assessment of pollution in general and those electromagnetic, electrical (wisp currents - stray) in particular, port facilities within the investment is of particular interest. That's because wisp currents are part of the electrical environment pollution have a significant impact on the performance of machinery and portals equipment, damage to marine resources, damage to marine ecosystems, impact on satellite communication systems, as well as the consequences for the people better life located in these environments. As the first step of our studies in this field, in the article we have tried to make an describe of the use of Newton's method for determining the electrical parameters of the breakdown in polar coordinates to solve the distribution problem of power flows and voltage marine environments as determinants wisp currents. As one of the modern methods most powerful in terms of convergence and speed of settlement, implementation found today and the use of the algorithm of Newton's method in most of the distribution of power flow programs, the voltage levels in machinery, nodes, and in different environments.Item THE IMPACT OF THE METEOROLOGICAL FACTORS IN THE VALUE OF ELECTROMAGNETIC POLLUTANTS OF THE MARINE SPACES IN ALBANIA(AAB College, 2025-07-15) Spahiu, XhevdetContamination from eddy currents due to the presence of electromagnetic fields is a recent phenomenon. These currents, influenced by the magnetic field vector (H), magnetic flux density (B), and electric field (E), are present in various environments, including homogeneous and non-homogeneous areas, linear and non-linear environments, and open boundary problems. In marine environments, these currents, referred to as planetary currents, contribute to electrical pollution, impacting maritime infrastructure, machinery, and ecosystems. This study aims to assess the impact of eddy currents in the Durrës Seaport, Albania, focusing on how meteorological factors such as temperature, atmospheric pressure, and humidity influence pollution levels. Using the TES-92 Electro-smog meter and the PCE-THB 40 Thermo-hygrometer and barometer, we measured electromagnetic field characteristics and meteorological parameters. Our results highlight the significant impact of stray currents on marine environments, emphasizing the need for effective measures to minimize their effects and improve the quality and selection of materials and equipment in port facilities. This study provides valuable insights into the environmental and infrastructural challenges posed by electromagnetic pollution and proposes recommendations for mitigating these impacts.
