dc.description.abstractContemporary trends of higher education that are applied in developed countries are seen in Kosovo too. This study has a purpose of exposing challenges that Kosovo higher educa tion is facing regarding the e-learning system. The main hypothesis is that: Kosovo is not ready to apply e-learning system in higher edu cation. This is also supported by the second hypothesis that Kosovo’s education is far from the real digitalizing and it’s not ready to apply e-learning system in the higher education. This research will represent the concrete results of the actual situation, obstacles and dif faculties facing in implementation of the contemporary system of teaching and learning through the e-learning system
