Item An evaluation of e-Education system in Kosovo based on DeLone and McLean IS Success Model(AAB College, 2025-07-17) Krasniqi, EdonaInformation systems are one of the biggest crucial elements in today’s education institutions. Nowadays, institutions are constantly under pressure to digitalize most of their processes. In order to improve information systems, or to have qualitative information systems, it is essential to have evaluation of application accordingly from users’ perspective. This research offers an evaluation from user perspective of e-services dedicated to the education area. EMIS system was chosen as a case study. This system has been evaluated based on DeLone and McLean’s information system success model. This paper is a quantitative study, and it uses all DeLone and McLean’s variables to develop and validate measurement model of education information systems success, which has an impact specifically in the administrating process. The conclusions of this paper are that user has a weighty impact on improving information systems. Furthermore, application designers/developers should consider many factors when implementing an application that would be used by different categories of stakeholdersItem Analysis of the state of digital contact habits of primary school students(AAB College, 2025-07-17) Kazaz, NalanThe aim of this study is to examine the status of digital contact habits of primary school students during the pandemic period. This research has identified the challenges that have hurt the parents of preschool children, so that in the future this research will serve as an aid in managing distance learning, both for parents and preschool children aged 5-6. Data for this research were collected through electronic questionnaires conducted with 240 parents from 12 municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo, dividing them by gender (female and male). The study was conducted at the end of 2021 when the children had started returning to school. The results have convincingly shown that parents of preschool children have not been satisfied with distance learning. The research however reveals that female parents accept the new way of organizing distance learning more easily than male parents. In this case, the support of educators has helped parents alleviate their stress while organizing distance learning. The study has evidenced that in cases where there is good cooperation between parents and educators, good results can also be expectedItem ChatGPT Integration in Higher Education: Impacts on Teaching and Professional Development of University Professors(AAB College, 2025-07-17) Bërdynaj Syla, LirikaThe integration of ChatGPT in education shows great potential, but its success depends upon educators’ technological skills, their ability to adapt to new teaching tools, and a willingness to embrace AI as part of their instructional strategies. At the same time, it was also seen, which the skills are where the students have shown better results with above mentions methods of ELTItem Different Methods of Distribution Data in the Cloud - Controlled by IT Security Specialist(AAB College, 2025-07-17) Krasniqi, EdonaIn spite of the fact that there is an increase in the usage of cloud storage services, there is still a significant number of client organizations that lack sufficient trust in third party cloud providers. To improve the privacy of users and to ensure more secured data we have proposed a model for security in cloud computing, in the previous work [1]. Part of our proposed model is IT Security Specialist (ITSS) of the company i.e. that will control security in cloud computing. This solution is based on some ways of file encryption, partitioning, and distribution among multiple storage providers, resulting in increased confidentiality since a supposed attacker will need to first obtain parts of a file from different storage providers, know how to combine them, before any decryption attempt. In this paper we propose two new methods as part of our proposed model [1,2]. Based on the results of this work, we provide the comments in relations to the methods as a part of the proposed model of security in the cloud computingItem Educational Innovations as Facilitating Factors for Learning of Children with Special Needs in Preschool Institutions(AAB College, 2025-07-16) Agaj, FatmirThe objective of our study is to measure the impact of teaching innovations in facilitating the learning of preschool children (aged 3-6) with special needs. This study covers 5 municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo (Prishtina, Gjakova, Ferizaj, Gjilan, Kamenica). Data were collected through electronic questionnaires with 128 parents and 128 educators who have children with special needs. The questions were oriented around the impact of educational innovations in facilitating the learning of children with special needs. Based on the results of the present study, it is concluded that the impact of teaching innovations has shown a trend towards a positive future in facilitating learning for children with special needs. However, gradual improvements should be made to create a suitable and inclusive environment by providing innovative approaches according to the needs of children with special needs. In this study, it was understood from the respondents that educational innovations affect the facilitation of learning for children with special needs, which has also been statistically proven. According to statistics, we finally realized that parents are more principled, compared to educators. Parents are constantly looking for innovative changes, while educators are reluctant to do so, arguing that they do not have enough support from educational institutions. In quantitative terms, the phenomenon of educational innovations in facilitating the learning of children with special needs, especially in terms of the implementation of educational innovations, in terms of parents' perception, needs improvement, especially in the adaptation of educational innovations to children and completing preschool institutions with professional educators and assistants.Item Effects of Digital Media on Education(AAB College, 2025-07-17) Kazaz, NalanThis study aims to combine studies examining the effects of heavily contacted digital media on education in digital gaming, social media, and digital addiction and conduct related research. For this purpose, meta-thematic analysis was employed, one of the qualitative research methods. In the study, the question 'What are the effects of digital media according to parents, teachers, and students?’ has been answered. The document analysis technique was adopted from qualitative methods as a data collection tool in the research. The data were analyzed according to the categories of ’parent, teacher, student, and socio-cultural reflections. It has been concluded that the tasks and responsibilities that students should perform in their daily lives reflect the negatives such as interaction, academic failure, waste of time, uncontrolled contact habits, perception disorder, and miscommunication in the educational process. According to the results obtained, the necessary precautions against the negativity of social media and digital games, digital literacy, and enhancing competencies of your family, individual students according to their degree of dependency on the type of digital media content and latent hazards be interfered with by experts on the implicit message to students which activities they will receive the satisfaction of daily living dependency oriented measures to the problem of design and digital boosting, etc. the recommendations are listed.Item Examining 8th graders' use of technology in the pandemic period(AAB College, 2025-07-17) Kazaz, NalanUnderstanding the current and future technology use behaviors of secondary school students who started distance education during the pandemic process is essential to their academic success. The aim of this study is to examine the technology use status of 8th-grade students studying at secondary school during the pandemic period. We used the relational survey model, which is one of the quantitative research methods, in the research. Data was collected by sending the scale to 680 students' parents via link. We used the Dijitanaliz (Digital Addiction Scale) developed by Dilci as a data collection tool and the Dijitanaliz technique in the analysis of the data. According to the findings, 1 out of 3 people has digital addiction, while the remaining 2 out of 3 are candidates for addiction. It is an undeniable fact that the duration of digital media usage has increased during the pandemic process.Item EXAMINING THE IMPACT OF FACE-TO-FACE, ONLINE, AND HYBRID LEARNING ON STUDENTS’ MOTIVATION TO LEARN(AAB College, 2025-07-17) Shatri, SarandaThe educational process is a complex system that is influenced by a number of factors. One of these is the young people’s motivation for educational and professional development in a higher educational institution. This question is relevant today, because the forms and approaches to the organization of the educational environment are extremely different. Based on this, the selection of methods for increasing the level of interest of students should be carried out on the basis of modern requirements for educational activities, which are dynamic. The purpose of the work was to study the conditions and factors on the basis of which students’ motivation develops in various forms of the educational process. For this, a number of scientific and methodological tools were used. These include methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison, functional analysis, logical analysis, deduction, abstraction, generalization. As a result, it was possible to determine the main ways of influencing the student’s consciousness, as well as their motivation to work and acquire knowledge in various forms of the educational process. The motivation of students within each of them can develop differently. This is due to the fact that one form involves live communication, while another one is exclusively virtual or blended. It was proven that the level of students’ motivation depended entirely on their need to study particular academic disciplines. The obtained results can be used during the preparation of teachers to conduct classes and increase the motivation of students with whom they workItem Exploring In-Service Science Teachers’ Self-Perceptions of Competence and Pedagogical Approaches to Socioscientific Issues in Education(AAB College, 2025-07-16) Bicaj, ArberoreGlobal education experts are increasingly prioritizing scientific literacy development. Science education is key to enhancing scientific literacy, fostering social responsibility, and supporting economic growth by equipping individuals with essential scientific knowledge and skills. In the past two decades, socioscientific issues (SSI) have greatly influenced science education research, improving students’ ability to apply scientific knowledge in real-world contexts and advancing functional scientific literacy. Given the strong evidence that socioscientific issues (SSI) enhance scientific literacy and social responsibility skills, understanding SSI role in science education is crucial for developing countries aiming to boost economic and social growth. This research aimed to understand the in-service science teacher’s self-perception, knowledge, and experiences, as well as the benefits and challenges of integrating socioscientific issues into education. This qualitative research analysis employed a thematic analysis approach to research and data analysis from the responses of 54 in-service science teachers. All participants responded to the online open-ended questionnaire, which consisted of open-ended questions. The results highlight that in-service science. teachers face challenges such as inadequate school environments, social pressures, and limited professional support, all of which hinder effective teaching of socioscientific issues. Furthermore, most of the in-service science teacher participants in the study were unaware of SSI, which suggests that there is a need for targeted professional development. The research suggests that it is crucial to address these challenges and enhance the knowledge and understanding of in-service science teachers regarding SSI to facilitate curriculum reform and the overarching goal of promoting citizens’ educational and economic development.Item Factors in preventing violence in schools(AAB College, 2025-07-17) Shatri, Sarandaschool bullying; mobbing; cyberbullying; agile educational environment; opportunities for developmentItem Implementation of the New Curriculum by Pre-University Teachers in Schools in the Anamorava Region of Kosovo(AAB College, 2025-07-16) Agaj, FatmirThe study aims to understand how much the New Teaching Curriculum is implemented by pre-university teachers in schools in the Anamorava Region of Kosovo, as it is suspected that teachers in this area do not implement the New Curriculum sufficiently. This case study was conducted in the pre-university schools of the Anamorava Region of Kosovo, which consists of three municipalities. Data were collected through the quantitative method, whereas the main objective of the study is to impact the Curriculum the quality of the learning process. The research concluded that teachers of pre-university schools in the Anamorava Region of Kosovo do not sufficiently implement the New Curriculum although according to the Administrative Instruction of the Ministry of Education of Kosovo, the New Curriculum should be implemented in all educational institutions. The results of the study are useful for developing theories about the implementation of the New Curriculum to increase the quality of education. This encouragement is expected to provide opportunities and support for all teachers by creating trust among parties who share similar concerns. This study can also contribute to New Curriculum planners and contribute to teachers who have remained reluctant to implement it. The research focuses on the review and analysis of the implementation of the New Curriculum by teachers in this area and beyond. Through this research, real results have been achieved, revealing the truth that not all teachers implement the New Curriculum. We have also made a comparative analysis of the two age groups of teachers and concluded that young teachers implement the New Teaching Curriculum more than those of old age.Item List information between school and family(AAB College, 2025-07-16) Agaj, FatmirMain objective of this study is to present a business strategy where the activities and behaviors of students are monitored by teachers. This particular strategy includes a written list which consists of keeping records on student’s achievements throughout the week and it is supposed to be forwarded to parents early in the week to present the daily activities of their children at school. This research was conducted based on the interest of parents in the performance and school life of their children. Therefore, it is considered that this list information is the most convenient way of having a genuine cooperation among teachers and parents. Based on the analysis of the data derived from this research, it is concluded that parents are quite satisfied with the implementation of such working strategy, because they are constantly informed about the work or lack of work of their children at school, and that through this type of cooperation it is leaded to a closer access on the results achieved for weekly performances of their childrenItem Masakra e Tivarit në letërsinë shqipe(AAB College, 2025-07-17) Demiri, NaileNë këtë studim do të trajtohet tema “Masakra e Tivarit në letërsinë shqipe“. Padyshim se ky reflektim i ri, plural, fillon me shkrimet e dr. Në këtë punim kam projektuar ta shqyrtoi tezën: “Përse kuadri letrar i realizmit socialist, por edhe ai i posmodernes dhe zhanreve tjera në letërsi, nuk merren me këtë ngjarje të madhe të shqiptarëve në fund të Luftës së Dytë Botërore”.Item Needs Assessment Study on the Employability of Youth with Disabilities in Kosovo(Needs Assessment Study on the Employability of Youth with Disabilities in Kosovo, 2025-07-17) Geci, Ilirjana
